NutriSaldo is a food-logging app. This document explains what data we collect, why, and how you can access it or request its deletion.
Email and password (managed by Amazon Cognito, our authentication provider) to create and access your account. Onboarding profile — nickname, height, weight, birth year, sex, activity level, and goal — so we can calculate your nutrition targets. Food logs — the foods you log, quantities, and dates — so we can calculate your daily totals. A food budget, if you set one, so you can compare the estimated cost of your meals. We don't collect any other personal data beyond the nickname you choose — we don't ask for your real name, address, or phone number.
All the data above exists solely to make the app work: calculating your calorie and macronutrient goals, showing your daily progress, and estimating the cost of your meals. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Your data is stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) databases, in the EU region, with access restricted to your own account via the authentication token issued at login.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion (the "Delete account" section in your profile), your data is marked for removal and permanently erased 14 days later — a grace period that lets you reverse the request, in case it was accidental or the result of unauthorized access, simply by logging in again within that window.
You can edit most of your data directly from the profile screen. You can request deletion of your account at any time, also from the profile screen. You can export a full copy of your data at any time using the "Export my data" button in your profile, delivered as a downloadable file. For other privacy questions, contact us by email.
